APRIL WORKSHOP

Join me for a mixed-media landscape workshop where we'll blend the beauty of oil pastels with the charm of modern embroidery to craft stunning landscape paintings!
In this 2.5-hour session, we'll cover everything from the basics of oil pastel techniques to enhancing the painting with modern embroidery. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a budding artist, this workshop is designed for all skill levels!

MAY THREAD PAINTING SERIES
At Hillfolk in Bentonville, AR
On Thursday evenings in May, Claire will teach students how to design and create a 10" landscape thread painting from start to finish. Together, we will prep tulle-stretched embroidery hoops, learn hand-stitching techniques to achieve a landscape painting, and then sketch, design, and embroider a composition based on photo references.
Each student will leave with a personally designed 10" embroidered painting and 5" embroidered "skills-building" practice hoop(s). At the end of the four weeks, students will have the skills and confidence to translate a photo into a sketch and bring that sketch to life through embroidery.
